The Specialist Maths Team provide support for pupils who are identified as having specific difficulties with maths. Pupils are identified for support in a variety of ways, including advice from the SEN panel, through the school’s Link Teacher and through other professionals.  Support is delivered by either a specialist teacher or a specialist teaching assistant and is time limited.
The team also carry out Maths Recovery training across the authority and support the Talking Maths training.
