Wigan Rugby League Football Club in a unique partnership with Robin Park Leisure Services, Tesco, the Local Education Authority, Education Business Partnership, Comino Foundation and Research Machines aim to support local schools by providing high quality innovative learning experiences which enable young people to fulfill their potential. The Curriculum Centre is a major contribution to this mission statement and to the education and development of young people in the Wigan Metropolitan Borough. It will introduce thousands of young people to the world of rugby league and other sports, offering a learning environment that highlights the role of sport and emphasise active learning through the National Curriculum
